About Cass
Hi there! I'm Cassandra, a Miami-based photographer with a passion for telling love stories through my lens.
My goal as a wedding photographer Is to create images that feel authentic and unforced, capturing the moments that you’ll want to remember and creating a gorgeous gallery that takes you back to the best day of your life.
With a blend of documentary and editorial styles stemming from my studies in fine art and journalism and over 20 years of experience in photography, I’ve strived to cultivate an artful approach to photography that focuses on those emotions that make us humans such endearing little creatures.
I remember the first time I looked through the lens of a camera as a kid and snapped a picture of my mom by a lake in my home state of Minnesota. I felt such a rush at the thought of shaping that moment into a rectangle and making it last forever, and I’ve followed that feeling throughout my life.
As your photographer, my primary goal is to make you feel at ease throughout the entire process. I’m dedicated to ensuring that you soak up all the love and happiness surrounding you on your wedding day, knowing that I will turn those moments into the best gallery of images you’ve ever imagined for your wedding.
At my own wedding in May of 2022 near Joshua Tree, CA- finally the bride. The only photographers I knew for certain that I could trust with my big day were my incredible second shooters Julieta and Ksenya
Little nuggets
I live in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami with my husband, his two kids and our doggos.
My ride-or-die rat terrier Nugget is my life partner, travel buddy, model and soulmate (and she gives the best hugs).
The newest addition to our household is a rescued blue parrotlet named Sully who rarely leaves my side. He’s hopelessly obsessed with me and the feeling is mutual.
My little sister Savannah is my bestie and also an amazing photographer- she shoots with me on some weddings!
When I’m not on shoots or nerding out editing photos, you can find me traveling, hosting game nights, riding my bike around town, ordering everything on the happy hour menu, slaying Xbox dance games, reading novels on my Kindle or shopping for more boots.
